Maths Teacher Job Type: Full-timeLocation: Wyre & FyldeSalary: Competitive rates in line with Teacher Pay Scale We are seeking a dynamic Maths Teacher to join a school in the Wyre & Fylde area on a long-term basis, starting immediately. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of the curriculum, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to creating an engaging learning environment. Day-to-day of the role: Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to students at KS3 and KS4 levels; experience with KS5 is advantageous.Utilise strong subject knowledge to inspire and motivate students.Maintain high standards of classroom management to ensure a constructive learning environment.Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.Collaborate with other teaching staff to plan and coordinate lessons. Required Skills & Qualifications: Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.Recent relevant experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4; KS5 experience is beneficial.Excellent classroom practitioner with robust classroom management skills.Reliable, committed, and capable of working effectively with students.Good interpersonal skills, demonstrating qualities of compassion, trustworthiness, politeness, and good listening skills.Must be punctual, patient, and confident when working with children.
