We're Hiring: HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic

Maris Logistics Ltd is growing — and we're building something exciting.
Following a major investment in our brand-new, state-of-the-art workshop facility in South Kirkby, we're expanding our team and looking for an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic
to help us build and develop our independent commercial vehicle workshop.
With a modern fleet of 30 articulated trucks and 45 trailers, you'll play a key role in maintaining our vehicles and supporting external commercial customers.
The Role
Working in a busy commercial vehicle environment, you will be responsible for:
* Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HGVs and trailers
* Handling driver defect reports
* Preparing vehicles for MOT
* Routine inspections and servicing
* General repairs and maintenance
* Occasional local breakdown response
Salary & Hours
* £20.00 per hour
* Overtime paid at
£30.00 per hour
(after 40 hours)
* Salary negotiable depending on experience (DOE)
* Mainly Monday to Friday
* Various shift patterns available
* 40 hours per week
What We're Looking For
Preferred:
* C&G, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent qualification
* Minimum 3 years' experience as an HGV Technician
* Time-served technicians considered
Essential:
* Proven experience in HGV repair and maintenance
* Full UK Driving Licence
Advantageous (but not essential):
* Class 1 Category C+E Licence
