You will be responsible for:
* Managing a team and overseeing departments such as studio, planning, and scheduling
* Ensuring effective coordination, communication, and performance management across all shifts to maintain consistent production output and operational standards
* Leading day‑to‑day operations across print, finishing, and associated support departments to ensure consistent quality, productivity, and workflow efficiency
* Ensuring all production activities align with customer requirements, agreed lead times and quality standards
* Overseeing staffing across multiple shift patterns, including double‑day shifts, shorter Thursday/Friday shifts, and permanent night shifts led by a dedicated night‑shift team leader
Key attributes required:
* Strong background in labels or packaging manufacturing, with a solid understanding of print, finishing, materials and production workflows
* Proven factory management experience, capable of leading multi‑shift teams and overseeing day‑to‑day operational performance
* A continuous improvement mindset, with experience driving process optimisation, reducing waste, and enhancing productivity through structured improvement initiatives
* Personable and approachable leadership style with the ability to motivate teams
* Highly organised and resilient, able to manage competing priorities and maintain a calm, professional approach under pressure
