Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)

Salary: £95–£105 per day

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary/secondary school in South London. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students who need extra support to thrive in their education.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with students with a range of special educational needs, including autism (ASD), ADHD, speech & language difficulties, and learning difficulties.
Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups both inside and outside the classroom.
Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering tailored learning activities.
Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the SENCO and class teacher.
Requirements:
Experience working with children with SEN (in a school, care, or similar setting).
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping young people succeed.
Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
A DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, or a psychology/education background) are desirable but not essential.
