About the Role
This role combines hands-on site work with office-based technical tasks. You'll be installing, configuring, and troubleshooting ICA and telemetry systems, as well as producing clear documentation and supporting successful project delivery. Regular travel to Ireland is part of the role.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, configure and maintain RTUs, comms panels, and ICA equipment
* Investigate and remediate telemetry systems, including fault diagnosis
* Perform SCADA configuration changes and support commissioning
* Carry out site surveys and produce accurate asset reports
* Produce clear documentation and post-remediation reports
* Prepare and follow safety documentation (RAMS)
What We're Looking For
* HNC/HND in Electrical, Electronic, or Control Engineering (or equivalent industry experience)
* 5+ years' experience in ICA systems (water industry preferred)
* Hands-on experience with telemetry systems and PLCs
* Knowledge of SCADA systems and industrial comms (Modbus, DNP3, IEC, Ethernet)
* Strong installation, testing and troubleshooting skills
* Full UK driving licence + right to work in the UK & Ireland
Desirable: WIMES knowledge, 18th Edition, ECS/JIB Gold Card, EUSR Water Hygiene, Thames Water Passport, and instrumentation experience.
