We are working with a fast growing and dynamic FMCG brand who are looking to bring in a Finance Director who fits into their vibrant, fast-paced culture and can take on a broad remit encompassing Operations and Supply Chain. The incumbent is leaving a strong platform to build on with a lot of the operational foundations having been put in place. This leaves the next Finance Director with a remit to drive operations, push forward with business cases working with closely with the CEO and PE owner.

Job Description
Support the CEO acting as his ‘right-hand person’ in both strategic design and delivery, offering sound commercially and operationally focused financial support to create and deliver the structured growth plan appropriate to the competitive nature of the business. Being comfortable working with detail and the wider strategy; adaptability is key.
Build a trusted relationship with Private Equity Investor to support driving financial performance and strategic direction. Manage other external financial relationships including, but not limited to; corporate financiers, banks, auditors, tax advisors and other professional services
Lead Supply Chain and Operations; ensure cost management and working capital management, develop risk management initiatives, and support key supplier relationships.
Build and implement high-quality reporting, board packs and dynamic, accessible management information. These must be supported by clear and effective KPIs across all departments, which give insightful information at a granular level to enhance decision-making and increase profit
Establish cash management, credible finance processes and reporting to optimise working capital and take a proactive approach by influencing across the business; working closely with the commercial and operational teams to improve productivity.
Support with insightful MI, including integrated stock and sales volumes to add value to purchasing decisions.
Collaborate cross functionally with the Sales Director, Brand Director and Creative Director and teams to spearhead commercial initiatives associated with expanding within the retail sector, fostering growth and enabling informed decision-making.
Manage a small finance team, provide them with mentoring and support to enable development opportunities.
