Health Care Support Worker (Cheviot Locality)
Internal vacancy only – open to current NHS Scotland staff.
Overview
A Health Care Support Worker will work within the District Nursing Service, based in the Cheviot locality, delivering care to patients in their own homes and supporting the team.
Working Hours
18.5 hours per week, permanent.
Responsibilities
* Support the District Nursing Team in managing daily caseload.
* Work with Registered Nurses during shifts, joining daily reports to discuss patient care.
* Provide assistance across the Cheviot locality, and occasionally travel to neighbouring localities.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Full driving licence.
* Enthusiastic, caring, excellent communication skills, adaptable to varied environments.
* Experience working in the community is desirable but not essential.
* Must have legal right to work in the UK.
Salary
Salary quoted is for full‑time hours (36 hrs per week). For part‑time hours salary will be pro‑rated.
