Allied Site Services Ltd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor on a full time permanent basis .
Office based in Glasgow, G75
45 Hours a week
Monday to Friday 8am-5pm

Will be required to manage all related costs to construction projects, ensuring they are completed within budget while maintaining quality standards.
* Oversee all financial aspects of construction projects, from initial estimates to final costs. This includes preparing detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.
* Prepare and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. This involves managing contractual agreements and advising on procurement strategies
* Conduct feasibility studies to assess materials, labor, and time costs, providing clients with accurate financial forecasts.
* Track project progress, costs, and budgets, adjusting estimates as necessary based on changes in design or construction work
* Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project specifications are met and to resolve any issues that arise during construction.
* Identify potential financial or construction risks and provide solutions to mitigate them, ensuring the project remains on track.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
* Proven experience in quantity surveying or cost management within the construction industry is essential. At least 3 years
* Strong analytical and numerical skills to assess costs and manage budgets effectively.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills for negotiating contracts and liaising with stakeholders.
* Familiarity with construction methodologies, regulations, and cost estimation software
