We are currently seeking a passionate Recovery Worker to join our Complex Needs Service in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
What Will You Be Doing?
As a Recovery Worker, you will provide person-centered support to our service users, focusing on:
* Creating and reviewing SMART support plans
* Delivering home or community-based support
* Facilitating access to medical and community services
* Minimizing hospital admissions for mental health
* Collaborating with external agencies
* Developing interventions for hard-to-engage users
* Promoting ongoing engagement with support networks
What Do You Need to Bring?
We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate the core skills required for this role and aligns with our values and mission. You don’t have to meet every requirement right away; what matters most is your willingness to learn. If you have lived experience related to the areas we support, we encourage you to share that in your application.
Key Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience supporting individuals with mental health challenges, preferably in an outreach setting
* Strong knowledge of the signs and symptoms of mental health issues
* Understanding of safeguarding principles
* Empathy and a respectful approach to working with a diverse community
