Senior Therapy Assistant / Therapy Technician
The closing date is 29 April 2026
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our Integrated Stroke and Neuro‑Rehab team as a Band 3 Senior Therapy Assistant / Therapy Technician. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team of many professions, including a well‑established support workforce.
The work is varied and you will manage and prioritise your own caseload under the guidance of the registered practitioners to provide high quality support for the therapists and assist with the rehabilitation of patients, working directly with the different professions. This will require a high level of communication skills, flexibility, time management and a problem‑solving nature.
Location of intervention can be at the patient’s home, clinic or other community setting and thus ability to travel to different geographic locations either through use of a car or access to a means of mobility to travel across the Trust footprint in line with service needs is required.
The role will involve working with others or independently. You will also support our Team Administrators, as required, in processing referrals.
We have a strong focus on staff well being and support all to bring their best to work each day. We are proud of our supportive team approach and the consistently high level of quality service we deliver to our patients.
We offer bespoke training and opportunities to develop and be involved in team service development projects.
