Head of Sales (JN -012026-188419) Northampton, England Salary: GBP75000 - GBP85000 per annum Head of Sales - Cabling Salary: £75,000–£85,000 + sales incentive bonus + company benefits The Role We are looking for an experienced Head of Sales to lead a high-performing B2B sales function and deliver profitable, predictable revenue growth. This is a senior leadership role with ownership of sales performance, forecasting, and customer experience. You will embed strong proactive sales mindset, pipeline discipline, and data-led decision making, while building a results‑driven, customer‑focused sales culture. Working closely with the Sales & Marketing Director, you will help execute the wider commercial strategy. Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team Drive consistent sales growth through structured cadence, forecasting, and pipeline management Proficient on CRM, analysing team sales data and identifying gaps Champion customer‑first, value‑based selling Grow OEM, Panelbuilder, and MRO market segments, including ecommerce Strengthen key customer relationships and strategic accounts Partner cross‑functionally with Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance
Experience Required
Proven track record leading a successful internal and external sales team Experience delivering growth through structured sales execution and forecasting Strong people leadership, coaching, and performance management skills Exposure to OEM, Panelbuilder, or MRO markets preferred but not essential Experience in distribution, industrial, technical, or electrical environments advantageous
