Job Description:
Responsibilities
Under the guidance of the operation leader or a more senior banker, the analyst will:
1. Structuring and Execution: Work as a project team member on transactions, contributing to all aspects of project structuring and execution, including research, analysis of background materials, market information, financial performance data, risk analysis, financial modeling, and preparing internal documentation. Assist with designing and processing technical co-operation assistance, communicate with internal units, clients, and stakeholders, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
2. Portfolio Monitoring, Value Creation, and Reporting: Support monitoring of projects, compliance with agreements, financial performance assessment, risk evaluation, and reporting. Assist with the implementation of technical cooperation (TC) assignments, including communication with clients, monitoring fund usage, and preparing progress reports.
3. Business Development: Assist with marketing and business development efforts as needed.
The role is designed for progressive responsibility based on experience and expertise.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Bachelor's degree, Master's preferred or equivalent experience.
* Strong quantitative and financial modeling skills.
* Credit analysis skills, understanding of accounting principles.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial analysis tools.
* Professional qualifications such as ACA, CFA, ACCA, or CIMA are desirable.
* Effective communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
* Relevant financial industry experience, preferably in the TMT sector or in the EBRD regions.
