As our construction Engineer, you will provide lean but robust engineering strategies as part of an established, successful land and development team. The role will be working primarily with the land team to de-risk bids and support the due diligence process for land acquisition approval. This includes technical reporting and strategies for drainage, cut & fill, retaining walls, foundations, and utilities. Support with groundworks estimating and procurement will also be part of your responsibilities. You will support planning applications with technical input and engineering strategies.
External engineers may be utilized to add detail for checking and presentation purposes. The engineering strategy will be handed over to the technical team for detailed design. The role requires producing accurate, value-engineered information aligned with programmes and budgets.

Skills, knowledge & experience

The ideal candidate will have UK housebuilding experience and be proficient with engineering software.
