Vehicle Technician (classic cars) – Location: Kenilworth.
Salary: up to £35,000 basic per annum DOE, plus overtime OTE 40k.
Hours: full time Monday to Friday 8.30-5.

My client is recruiting for an exciting and different position, looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their team in the Kenilworth area. Role Overview – Vehicle Technician
* Carrying out vehicle servicing and general maintenance
* Performing diagnostics and fault finding
* Brakes, suspension, clutch repairs and replacements
* Cambelt replacements
Essential Skills and Requirements – Vehicle Technician
* Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a workshop environment
* A first class knowledge of traditional petrol engines, in particular carburettor fuel systems and distributor type ignition systems
* A first class knowledge of fault finding on traditional vehicles
* A good knowledge of engine building
* A general knowledge of traditional electrical, transmission, braking and suspension systems
* An ability to solve technical problems with good engineering practice
* An ability to work effectively within a team of four skilled technicians
* Self-motivated to minimise idle time and keep jobs within estimate
* A commitment to the highest quality and putting customer satisfaction above all else
* Strong mechanical skills
* A steady and reliable work history
* Minimum Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
* You must also own a well-stocked toolbox
