Overview
My client in the Swallownest area are looking for experienced Welders / Fabricators.
Responsibilities
* Under general supervision, performs skilled work during the manufacture/build of trailer and trailer bodies to ensure the safe and efficient operation of fixtures, apparatus, and other elements in the factory area.
* Work involves fitting body components to panels and assembled trailer bodies.
* The parts may be attached by bonding or by mechanical fasteners.
* Use tools and equipment used in trailer bodybuilding.
* General knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions.
* Skill in the use and care of hand and power tools and equipment necessary to prepare, fit and fasten body components.
* Ability to perform manual labour for extended periods of time as required by work assignments.
* Good interpersonal skills
* Good manual dexterity requires the ability to handle a variety of items such as hand tools.
* Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form
* Be able to maintain and repair associated adhesive and fastener equipment.
* General knowledge of the tools and equipment used in trailer bodybuilding.
* Skill in the use and care of hand and power tools and equipment necessary to prepare, fit and fasten body components.
* Ability to apply specified bonding procedures.
Preferred Experience / Qualifications
* Experience in the manufacture of trailers and trailer bodies
* Experience in body repairs
* Experience in chassis repairs after accident damage
* Experience in refurb of old trailers
Employment details
