Are you a passionate leader with the drive to make a lasting difference in young people s lives? We are seeking an experienced Children s Home Manager to take the helm of our 1-bed home in Prestwich, providing high-quality care and support for children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
This is a rare opportunity to lead a small, specialist service where you ll have the autonomy to shape the home, inspire your team, and create the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, support, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding care
* Ensure the home not only meets but exceeds Ofsted requirements
* Create a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for children to flourish
* Take responsibility for safeguarding and individual care planning
* Build strong partnerships with families, professionals, and the wider community
* Develop a positive culture where your team feel valued and inspired
About You
* NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
* Proven experience managing or deputising in a children s residential setting
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and Ofsted frameworks
* Excellent communication and leadership skills with a people-focused approach
* Resilient, motivated, and committed to improving children s lives
