Job Description
Field-based Area Sales Manager role covering the South East and Midlands, working with builders' merchants, industrial distributors, DIY retailers, and manufacturing end users. Representing a market-leading range of tools and fixing solutions used across multiple trades, this is a high-potential territory with a strong existing customer base and significant growth opportunity.
You'll spend 3-4 days per week in the field, managing around 60 active accounts while developing new and lapsed business. Success will come from effective planning, with multiple pre-booked customer meetings daily, balancing account management through distribution and generating new industrial end-user business.
This role suits a commercially astute, organised sales professional with strong territory planning and new business skills, comfortable building long-term relationships while also securing quick wins.

Salary: £40-45k basic + £7k OTE (uncapped), company car, pension, 25 days holiday, life assurance.

We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
A field sales professional with a good level of demonstrable experience to date
Has route planning, account segmentation, and new business skill sets
Understands selling through distribution/builders merchants, as well as direct
Someone who is up for the challenge, able to spend up to a night away per week, and build business
Have an ambition to grow their personal brand and develop as a sales professional
Full & Clean Driving licence
