Our Senior Health Care Assistants work as part of a large team comprising Health Care Assistants at Band 2 & 3, Nursing Associates, Registered Nurses and District Nurses. We are looking to recruit dedicated, motivated staff that are willing to go the extra mile for our patients to maintain high standards.

We are looking for dynamic, innovative and enthusiastic individuals with a desire to actively participate in high-quality nursing care.
You will have the willingness to extend and develop your skills and the ability to apply your knowledge to practice. The successful candidate will be required to work over a 7-day period and will be an integral part of a busy forward-thinking Community Nurse Team.
This is a community post and you will work independently in patients\' homes. You must be able to transport yourself and equipment across the locality during a normal working day. Travel expenses will be covered; parking at community sites is free for clinical staff.
Locations / Hubs
* North Hub – based at Haxby Health Centre
* Selby/South Hub – based Selby Hospital, Tadcaster Health Centre or Sherburn in Elmet
* East Hub – Tang Hall Clinic
* West Hub – South Hambleton and North Ryedale
We require staff to cross cover for other teams and may travel to work from other sites. Positions are available in the East Hub as the main base for successful candidates.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality care to patients in community settings
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team with other HCA bands, Nursing Associates, Registered Nurses and District Nurses
* Demonstrate dedication to learning and development through training and mentorship
* Independently travel to patients\' homes and manage equipment across the locality
* Cross-cover for other teams as required
Qualifications & Requirements
* Previous experience of caring for people at home is essential
* Commitment to providing care to a high standard
* Willingness to extend and develop skills and apply knowledge to practice
* Ability to work across a 7-day rota within a Community Nurse Team
