Job title: Apprentice and Skills Development Coach – Project Management
Location: Preston with travel to other sites across the UK - We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Delivering effective programmes that utilize coaching and blended learning pedagogy to train, monitor, and develop apprentices towards occupational competence.
2. Recording and reporting performance data effectively to support outstanding learner outcomes.
3. Coaching and developing learners through off-the-job training, providing welfare support and career guidance to facilitate their progression, attainment, and transition into the business.
4. Embedding safety and professional standards in all activities and courses delivered to learners.
5. Implementing modern learning practices and stretch activities such as skills competitions and problem-based learning.
6. Coaching, developing, and inspiring learners to achieve their full potential and become autonomous employees.
7. Providing and monitoring safeguarding, SHE, welfare, and support arrangements for learners participating in Early Careers & Skills programmes.
8. Supporting the design and development of curricular content and assessment strategies for co-delivered modules with external providers.
9. Collaborating with stakeholders across a national landscape, including other skills coaches and external partners.
10. Supporting the delivery and assessment of content on co-delivery modules in conjunction with training providers.
Your skills and experiences:
* Business professional with understanding of Project Management.
* Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
* Passionate about apprenticeships and learning.
* Teaching and learning qualification, with experience in learning delivery.
* Professional registration in an applicable field.
* Assessor Qualification.

The Skills Coach team:
You will be part of the National Programmes Team, working collaboratively to support apprentices’ learning and development across the Project Management Degree Apprenticeship. Supporting apprentices within the Shared Services and Digital Intelligence Sectors will require some travel across sites.
