CNC Machine Operator - Night Shift (4 shifts over Monday - Thursday)
Introduction
A well established engineering firm is seeking an experienced CNC Operator to support their machine shop team on a permanent night shift.
You will be responsible for setting and operating CNC machinery to deliver high-quality components. Full training is provided, with a structured transition from day to night shift over six months.

Key Responsibilities
Set and operate and set high-speed CNC machines for milling, drilling, tapping, and grinding.
Read mechanical drawings and follow technical specifications with accuracy
Perform basic programme edits and adjust tool tables when required
Maintain accurate production records, including quantities and scrap data
Ensure tooling, fixtures, and CNC programmes are in place before production begins

Hours of work:
Monday - Thursday 40 hours per week - 8.30pm to 7.00am
Salary
£17.00 per hour during initial training (approx. 6 months) on day shift
£21.57 per hour upon moving to night shift, (including shift allowance)
