Service Engineer Trainee – Fareham (Onsite Days – Flexi) at Safran.

Responsibilities
The Service Engineer trainee programme provides the knowledge, experience, and hands‑on exposure required to deliver high‑quality technical support to the UK MOD. You will learn to manage the technical interface with the customer, support frontline operations, and ensure compliance with safety and airworthiness regulations.
As you progress, you will develop the capability to:
- Operate as a Military Business Service Engineer
- Qualify as an RTM322 Field Support Representative
- Provide resilience and onsite support at MOD Main Operating Bases (MOBs) when required
Qualifications
Essential
- Experience working within an engineering environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Confident presenting and discussing complex technical topics
- Ability to adapt communication to different experience levels
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Strong interpersonal skills
Desirable
- Working knowledge of the RTM322 engine used by the UK MOD
- Ability to respond effectively to rapidly changing operational needs
- Strong written and spoken English
- Competent user of MS Office
- Understanding of Safran HE policies and processes
- High diligence and attention to detail
- Logical, structured approach to problem solving
