Male Support Worker – Complex Brain Injury Care
Location: Prenton, Birkenhead
Pay: £15.00 per hour
Hours: 20–30 per week (flexible)
Requirement: Full UK driving licence
About the Opportunity
Libertatem Healthcare Group are seeking a Male Support Worker to join our team in Prenton. This is a rewarding role providing 1:1 support to a client living with both brain and orthopaedic injuries. The focus is on enabling independence, building confidence, and supporting an active, fulfilling lifestyle.
You’ll play a vital role in both day-to-day care and the things that matter most to him—whether that’s cheering on Liverpool FC, heading out to gigs, or enjoying nights at the theatre.
About the Client
* Outgoing, sociable, and loves a good laugh
* Passionate about football (a big Liverpool supporter)
* Enjoys live music, concerts, and theatre trips
* Lives with a variety of pets (dog, cat, reptiles, fish, and even a tarantula!) — so animal confidence is essential
Key Duties
* Assist with personal care, mobility, and daily routines
* Support with medication and monitoring health
* Provide companionship and emotional reassurance
* Accompany to community activities, events, and appointments
* Maintain accurate records and liaise with healthcare professionals as needed
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in brain injury care (essential)
* A caring, adaptable, and positive approach
* Comfortable working around pets
* Full UK driving licence with own insured vehicle
