Axcis Education is currently recruiting for a Functional Skills Tutor to deliver Maths and English sessions in an alternative provision with a strong focus on equine learning. This unique role is ideal for an adaptable and creative tutor who can engage students who may have struggled in traditional educational settings.

The Role:
You will:
• Deliver Functional Skills Maths and English sessions in small group or 1:1 settings.
• Adapt lessons to meet the needs of learners with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Provide consistent, structured, and engaging lessons that support both academic and personal development.
• Work closely with the provision staff to ensure learning is practical and accessible.

About You:
• Experience delivering Functional Skills Maths and English, ideally within alternative provision or SEND settings.
• Patient, adaptable, and able to motivate reluctant learners.
• Creative in approach, linking lessons to real-life skills and interests.
• Able to work flexibly and collaboratively with a small team.
