Job type – Full Time, Permanent Location – Taunton area Working hours – Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.30pm and Friday 8am – 4pm Pay – £30,000 - £38,000 (DOE, Overtime there is also available) The Role: The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as an experienced fabricator/welder or completed an apprenticeship or BTEC level 3 in welding/fabrication and gained experience within the industry. Key Responsibilities: Perform welding tasks using different techniques such as stick welding Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications Fabricate and assemble metal structures according to engineering drawings Utilize hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and weld metal pieces Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet standards Requirements Key Requirements: Background in fabrication or manufacturing Be able to work from fabrication drawings Able to work well in a team Able to work on own initiative and self-motivated Good planning and organisational skills Punctual and Self-motivated Positive attitude to work with attention to detail Flexible approach and able to prioritise tasks 5 years min experience Experience with tube bending machines and robot welding systems or a strong willingness to learn and be trained in these technologies Benefits Free parking on site 28 days holiday including bank holidays Company Pension Scheme Cycle to work scheme Modern and well-equipped facilities INDBLUE
