Roles & Responsibilities
* To maintain accurate records of all maintenance, inspections, defects, and repairs carried out to the fleet and maintain all relevant legal documentation.
* Ensure the onsite VMU (Vehicle Maintenance Unit) is communicated with regularly to keep fleet repair times to a minimum and assist the Transport Department in maximising fleet availability.
* Complete administrative tasks and reports as requested.
* Inputting of fleet related documents onto spreadsheets and web-based programmes
* Filing of all fleet related legal & compliance documentation
* Auditing of fleet – Internal documentation and external physically
* Administrative tasks regarding Insurance / Accidents / Complaints
* Completing daily reports and communicating
* Complete small projects identify / communicate results.
* Downloading of fleet data from site vehicles
* Account for all Vehicle related defects including rectification.
* Recording all warranty repair work effected by manufacturers to ensure that the full-service history is maintained for all hire fleet.
Skills & Experience Required
* Experience working in a similar environment.
* Have excellent communication skills verbally and written.
* Excellent attention to detail skills.
* Proficient with MS Office, i.e. Excel & Word.
* Ideally have a good mechanical background (desirable not essential).
