Working within the People Team, you'll be a trusted partner to leaders across our villages and central services. You'll lead on safer recruitment, talent attraction and workforce planning, ensuring we recruit people who not only have the right skills, but who genuinely embody our culture and commitment to outstanding care.
This is a high‑impact role where strategic thinking meets hands‑on delivery. You'll champion a compliant, high‑quality recruitment service, strengthen our employer brand, and drive innovative approaches to attracting, selecting and retaining brilliant colleagues. Your work will directly support our mission to create safe, supportive and inspiring environments for both residents and teams.
What you'll be doing:
* Lead Belong's recruitment and retention plan
* Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle
* Develop and implement attraction, recruitment and retention strategies
* Manage and develop the Recruitment Team
* Ensure rigourous compliance with safer recruitment standards
* Optimise recruitment processes, systems and materials
* Build strong internal and external partnerships
* Provide data, insights, and expert advice
What we're looking for:
* CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) or an equivalent Level 4 qualification in Recruitment, HR or Leadership.
* Significant experience in recruitment leadership
* Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and operational teams
* Strong track record in developing recruitment and retention strategies
* Skilled in using and optimising ATS and digital recruitment tools
* Deep understanding of values-based and safer recruitment
* Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and compliance.
