At BAM, we are currently looking for a Category Management Assistant to join our team in Farnborough. In this role, you will work closely with Divisions, Segments, Business Units, and functional process leads to implement effective Category Management processes across the UK & Ireland. Supported by the Supply Chain Management team, you will help drive efficiencies by reducing duplication and non-value-adding activities. You will also collaborate with other Segment teams to ensure consistency and deliver added value across the business. Your team Hours: 8.30 AM - 5 PM Permanent, full-time role This role offers hybrid working between home and our Farnborough office. Travelling will be required from time to time. Making Possible The Category Management Assistant is accountable for supporting and driving the following: Support Category Management activities across Segments and Functions to drive consistency where it adds value Manage allocated elements of the Category management process Work with Supply Chain and Procurement Leads, segment and function process leads, and subject matter experts to determine the required content within category management Promote awareness of the Category Management Process and requirements throughout BAM UK&I Investigate and promote proposals for improvement and value-added alignment Provide advice, guidance and support on implementing, maintaining, and continually improving Category management processes and management systems as required Manage the Supply Chain Hub Work with the Supply Chain and Procurement team to determine risk areas for focus of assessment Ensure the Category Management Systems remain aligned with the context in which the Division and Segments are operating Support in the onboarding of Supply Chain across the Division Measure and report on compliance with supply chain. Maintain supply chain documents and information on Jaggaer and the intranet. Maintain an awareness of market trends. Support and attend Supply Chain events. What do you bring to the role?
