The role of the Senior Creative Retoucher is to push the boundaries of what we do, creatively and technically. To develop and perfect our imagery by supporting the graphic communication of our client’s marketing materials for all media types, globally. This involves simple to complex photorealistic retouching of high-end product stills through to full room-set/location lifestyle and beauty imagery.
You will lead visually and creatively, setting the gold standard by crafting beautiful images that communicate our client’s engineering obsession. Your use of software will be innovative, and workflow and pipelines will be implemented skillfully to ensure the final output is of exemplary standard.
Working independently or within teams, you will use your initiative, dive deep into briefs, and communicate fluently with both commercial and creative teams. The role offers opportunities for creative input, proactive development of your work, and close collaboration with Art Directors, Team Leaders, and the Head of Art through key stages of image creation.
As a senior member of the image team, you will demonstrate high initiative and commitment to the team’s success. Flexibility and adaptability are essential. We promote a culture of knowledge sharing across the team, which is vital for skills development. As an artist, you have mastered production and post-production tools of your choice and possess a fundamental understanding of what makes a successful image. Light, form, surface texture, and colour are your core elements. You know how and where to use them for maximum effect. Your desire to improve and perfect images is driven by attention to detail and a pursuit of excellence.
Your portfolio should showcase mastery of visual language, demonstrating both basic skills and innovative, intelligently crafted solutions. It should reflect a broad and deep interest in art and exhibit extreme attention to detail.
