Job Title: Business Support Administrator
Location: Newport, Isle of Wight
Contract Type: Full time, temporary (initially 3 months with likely extension )
Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00
BDS are looking for a proactive administrator to join our client's team at a Waste Recovery Park on the Isle of Wight.
In this fast-paced role, you will support the operational collections team with a range of business support and administrative duties. Responsibilities include:
* Creating and processing purchase orders, invoices, and other transactional documentation
* Logging and managing missed collections and Garden Waste activity in the in-house system
* Supporting Trade Waste operations, including the issuance of business permits
* Coordinating with Maintenance, Finance, Trade, and Operations teams to meet administrative needs
* Managing data input and reporting through Excel and other systems
* Producing daily and weekly performance reports
About You:
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, confident using IT systems, and has strong Excel skills. You will be able to handle high workloads, adapt to new tasks quickly, and work well within a team.
Key Skills and Experience:
* Previous experience in a similar administrative or business support role
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
* Confident using business systems
* Excellent data accuracy and attention to detail

Rate: £12.82 p/h pay or circa £16.50 umbrella
