Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the data cabling and telecommunications markets. Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company growth objectives.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions. Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries and concerns.
* Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth. Provide insights and recommendations to the management team.
* Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets. Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
* Work closely with the technical and project management teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction. Coordinate with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
* Prepare regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market conditions. Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
Experience:
* Experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the data cabling solutions or telecommunications industry.
* Strong understanding of data cabling solutions, telecommunications infrastructure, and industry standards.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
* Strategic thinking with the ability to analyse market trends and identify opportunities.
* Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
