We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to manage day‑to‑day administration within the Urgent Primary Care Centre (UPCC) across Wrexham and Flintshire. The successful candidate will possess excellent organisational skills and be able to engage with colleagues at all levels to provide an efficient, comprehensive administrative service to senior staff.
Main Duties
* Undertake any secretarial and clerical duties required by the Senior Leadership Team, including non‑clinical administrative tasks as requested.
* Provide proficient IT support, using Microsoft Office for a variety of administrative duties and data input.
* Maintain strict confidentiality and deal with clinicians, practice managers, health board managers and other staff with courtesy and discretion.
* Resolve patient queries efficiently, exercising professional judgement within regulatory boundaries.
* Speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
* GCSE English and Maths, or equivalent qualification
* NVQ Business Administration Level 3 or equivalent experience
* IT related qualification (CLAIT or ECDL) or proven experience using Microsoft Office packages
* Statutory and Mandatory Training
Desirable criteria
* NVQ Customer Service Level 3
* Understanding of basic medical terminology
Experience
Essential criteria
* Knowledge of a range of office and administrative processes
* Experience working in a busy office environment
* Experience dealing with the general public / patients
* Ability to work as part of a team
Desirable criteria
* Experience working within the NHS
* Experience in data entry
Skills
Essential criteria
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for both verbal and written interactions at all levels of staff
* Ability to work to deadlines in a busy office, managing interruptions
* Good administrative, clerical and secretarial skills

* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
* Experienced in planning, organising and prioritising own workload
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

* Competence in the use of Adastra or similar PAS systems
