About the Role
We are looking for a driven individual to join a growing sales team as an Internal Business Development Executive.
This is a proactive, outbound B2B sales role focused on generating new business, re‑engaging dormant accounts, and building a strong customer pipeline. You will be speaking with clients regularly, identifying opportunities, and converting leads into active accounts.
Key Responsibilities
* Contact dormant and prospective customers via telephone
* Build and develop relationships with new and existing clients
* Convert enquiries into active trading accounts
* Prepare and present quotations and pricing proposals
* Manage inbound enquiries from marketing and website channels
* Maintain accurate CRM records and sales pipeline updates
* Identify and elevate larger opportunities to external sales teams
* Support onboarding and initial customer activity
Requirements
* Previous experience in sales, telesales, or business development
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Target‑driven mindset with a proactive approach
* Comfortable working to KPIs and activity targets
* Experience using CRM systems
* Resilient and motivated attitude
* Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
