About the Role
As a Class 1 Casual Driver, you will:
* Delivering vinegar in tanker lorries to different sites locally.
* All tanks will be preloaded before the route takes place.
* You will be required to unload the vinegar once at customer site.
* Occasional nights out may be required .
* Occasional coverage at our National Grid depot in Huthwaite may be required.
* Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
* Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
* Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
* Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
* Tanker experience required due to the nature of the role.
* Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
* Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
* Ability to work to deadlines.
* Confident, polite, and a team player.
* Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.
