Excellent opportunity for an experienced Property Adjusting Technician to join a high quality Claims Management business.

The role of the Adjusting Technician is to work alongside the Field Adjuster to ensure all aspects of claim investigations, consideration and settlement are undertaken. The claims will cover all domestic policy perils and the Adjusting Technician will be responsible for the detailed triaging of claims at the front end. To display a proactive approach to claims management. To move claims to successful and timely conclusions, in line with the guidelines set by our clients whether on a Retained or Delegated basis.
What will you be responsible for:
* As an Adjusting Technician, you will work alongside a designated Field Adjuster to support from their first receipt until completion and ensure that the loss or damage is covered sufficiently by the terms of the policyholder’s insurance policy.
* FNOL
* Detailed triage of new claims and arranging on site appointments for dedicated adjuster
* Working to a high level in the Mid- and High net Worth area, with the ability to apply bespoke conditions as per our client’s preferences.
* You will be required to liaise with insurers, policyholders and other parties and therefore good verbal and written communication.
* Within this role you are to ensure that the claim is dealt with a proactive approach and meets the agreed SLA’s. You will be working as part of a team and be required to assist with other cases as workloads and holidays demand.
* Assistance with out of hours “emergency” claims.
Summary of Position
You will be expected to handle and support on claims from cradle to grave. A typical caseload would be claims with a portfolio of both domestic and commercial claims. Write full and detailed reports for insurers, including recommendations for settlement.
Liaise with Insurers, policyholders, lawyers and other parties with a proactive approach to settling claims. The company ethos is quality and ensuring that all parties are communicated with at all times.
Whilst the role is based at home, you will be required to attend training sessions, team meetings at Head Office throughout the year.
What we need from you:
* Cert CII and / or Cert CILA
* Minimum 2 Year Claims adjusting experience in Domestic insurance claims area
* Problem-solving and decision-making skills in order to bring a claim to a conclusion
* Effective communicator, verbally and in written communication
* Effective Time Management,
* IT literate, Business conscious.
