GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a highly successful and well-known manufacturing business located in Pershore. We are currently recruiting for an Documents Engineer to join their team on a full time, permanent contract.
This position is working Monday - Friday 08:00am - 16:30pm offering a salary of up to £35,000.
As a Documents Engineer who is confident in producing Technical Documentation, you must be able to independently work on variety of tasks within our clients organisation. This includes creating and editing Documentation from Machine Manuals, IQ/OQ’s to full documentation packages.
To be considered it is essential that you can demonstrate proven expereince within a technical or automation role.
Documents Engineer main duties:
* Produce high-quality technical documentation packages to support the installation, operation, and maintenance of machinery.
* Create and update Manuals, Installation Qualification (IQ), and Operational Qualification (OQ) documents in line with relevant standards.
* Work directly with physical machinery to gather accurate data and visual content for documentation.
* Ensure all technical documentation is complete, correct, and compliant with internal and external regulatory standards.
* Contribute to the development and streamlining of documentation processes within the department
* Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to obtain necessary technical input and clarify complex information.
* Conduct reviews and updates of existing documentation to reflect equipment changes, improvements, or client feedback.
* Assist in standardising document templates and version control procedures.
* (Desirable) Experience with Hardware Design Specifications (HDS) and Software Design Specifications (SDS).
* Support the wider business by ensuring documentation is delivered on time and aligns with project schedules.
Documents Engineer required skills and experience:
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a technical documentation, engineering, or similar role with verifiable references.
* Proven experience working with machinery in an industrial or engineering environment.
* Strong understanding of engineering principles and terminology.
* Excellent attention to detail with a methodical and structured approach to documentation.
* Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Reliable, proactive, and able to meet deadlines under minimal supervision.
* Reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Pershore, Worcestershire.
