The Impact You Will Have
Work alongside Regional and Product Heads to develop and centralize underwriting strategies, governance, and operational efficiencies. Oversee delegated underwriting authorities and facilities for the London region, driving performance and opening new opportunities.
This role is pivotal to our strategic growth and portfolio diversification.
Responsibilities include:
* Manage delegated underwriting to ensure compliance and best practices.
* Monitor Coverholders, TPAs, and brokers.
* Lead initiatives in delegated underwriting management and process improvements.
* Engage with stakeholders and clients, including Coverholders and brokers.
* Approve new and renewal Coverholders and binding authorities per procedures and regulations.
* Handle complex applications, liaising with executive functions.
Qualifications and Skills
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Knowledge of underwriting across multiple lines of business.
* Ability to develop and implement underwriting strategies.
* Understanding of underwriting processes and risk management.
* Analytical skills with a structured approach.
* Experience in project management and stakeholder engagement.
* Excellent report-writing abilities.
* Familiarity with MGA models, legal, and regulatory environments.
* Ability to collaborate with global teams and contribute to strategy.
* Commitment to ethical AI practices and staying updated with AI technologies.
