Bedford Citizens Housing Association, BCHA, is housing and care provider in Bedford. We are a small organisation who are committed to providing high quality care, support and housing in Bedford. We have wide range of stock including a registered care home, extra care housing, sheltered housing and general needs housing.
The Role
As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities. Working under the supervision of Property Manager, your responsibilities will include to assist with all aspects of BCHA's maintenance service across all stock ensuring customer satisfaction and value for money. These tasks cover a wide range of duties including, Responsive Repairs, Cyclical Testing, Inspections, Preventative Maintenance, Grounds Maintenance/Gardening and Portering Services. This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Working hours at 08:30-16:30 Monday – Friday, we have a flexible approach to weekly working hours to 37.5 per week.
