Are you organised, detail-driven, and passionate about supporting services that make a real difference? Social Care London is seeking an Administrator to play a key role in delivering high-quality support to young people aged 16–25 living in our supported accommodation across South East London.
About the Role
As Administrator, you will be at the heart of our operations — keeping the organisation running smoothly behind the scenes and ensuring we remain compliant with Ofsted Quality Standards and the Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023.
Your work will involve:
* Managing records and documentation: You'll maintain accurate, up-to-date records for all aspects of the service, including young people's files, staff files, compliance documents, and operational logs. This will support our readiness for Ofsted inspections at all times.
* Supporting inspections and audits: You will help prepare reports and evidence for Ofsted, local authority reviews, and other external checks. You'll also ensure that records meet GDPR and confidentiality requirements.
* Coordinating daily operations: From scheduling meetings, training, and compliance reviews to overseeing inventories and supplies, you'll help ensure every part of our service functions effectively.
* Recruitment administration: You'll support our safe recruitment processes — helping to coordinate DBS checks, references, and maintain complete staff records that meet inspection requirements.
* Finance admin support: You'll assist with basic financial tasks, such as processing invoices, monitoring petty cash, and keeping finance records organised.
* Acting as the communication hub: You'll be a key point of contact for internal teams, social workers, local authorities, and external agencies, ensuring that information is shared clearly and professionally.
* Helping us stay ahead of compliance demands: You'll proactively identify where records or processes need updating, and work with the management team to address gaps before they become issues.
This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same — perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, purposeful environment where attention to detail truly matters.
What We're Looking For;
Essential:
* Strong administrative experience (preferably within social care, education, or another regulated environment).
* Exceptional organisation, time management, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and confidence using digital systems.
* A clear understanding of the importance of confidentiality, GDPR, and professional boundaries.
Desirable:
* Experience supporting Ofsted inspections or compliance audits.
* Familiarity with Ofsted Quality Standards or the Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023.
* An Enhanced Child and Adults DBS Certificate on the Update Service
