We are looking to appoint casual staff to work as teachers/cover supervisors, to work when we have short or long-term staff absence, professional development, performance management or other agreed absence. In short-term absence of their usual teacher, you will be responsible for and supervise a class of students. You will deliver and supervise work that has been set in accordance with school policy, manage the behaviour of pupils, respond to any questions from pupils and communicate with the Head of Department or form tutor. You will be expected to have expertise and experience of working with KS3 and KS4 students. Although duties will involve the interpretation of recognised procedures or guidelines, you will be expected to use initiative.
