Job Description
At any moment in time, we have hundreds of active projects around the world, each with varying revenue streams. Our Finance team not only take great pride to understand the value in the financial management of these projects, they ensure everything is compliant with the National Audit Office to help deliver year end accounts to Parliament.

Responsibilities
As Finance Lead Subject Matter Expert, you’ll:
* Support our Oracle Financial modules and manage change.
* Lead on Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, General Ledger, reporting and Oracle Time and Labour.
* Focus on the delivery of medium sized projects.
* Develop and ensure the team’s expertise and skills to enable them to support their work.
* Manage, develop and aid the personal progression of a B3 SME.
* Keep abreast of changes in the FCDO Services’ business environment and Oracle developments.
* Provide Helpdesk assistance, answer queries, and offer expert guidance to Hera users.
* Develop and maintain relationships with SMEs, key business stakeholders and external partners.
* Ensure Hera change control processes are followed at all times.
* Manage your own professional development and enhance knowledge of Oracle Financials used by FCDO Services.
Deliver quality finance expertise
To be successful, you should have well-developed experience in a finance function, practical understanding of at least two Oracle Finance modules, the ability to manage business change, and be part qualified CCAB, CIMA or equivalent. A confident verbal and written communicator, you should also be a collaborative and highly motivated team worker.
Staff management experience would be desirable, as would familiarity with project management and the commercial world. In addition, an up-to-date understanding of Artificial Intelligence would be an advantage, as would knowledge of tax and financial accounting and experience of working in a project delivery organisation with a diverse range of colleagues and stakeholders.
