The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting colleagues across all business functions with Power BI reporting needs, while also taking ownership of reporting projects from requirement gathering through to delivery. This role is pivotal to helping the business make data-driven decisions through high-quality, optimised, and insightful reporting solutions. Responsibilities Provide support to colleagues for Power BI reporting across all business functions. Create visualisations and reports for requested projects as well as business-as-usual reporting. Enhance the company's self-serve reporting capabilities, empowering users to access and use data independently. Capture detailed end-user requirements and translate them into fully scoped technical specifications. Contribute to the full delivery of reporting projects, including gathering requirements, report creation, and presenting actionable insights. Develop a structured testing framework for all new reporting initiatives. Optimise each report to ensure performance and scalability are maintained to the highest standard. Develop and maintain technical documentation. Stay updated with the latest best practices and trends in reporting technologies and Power BI development. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Essential: 3 years of experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service. Strong experience with Data Modelling and adherence to best practices. Strong experience with SQL Server Management Studio, including query writing and optimisation. Experience working with complex data structures Advanced knowledge of DAX Strong communication skills for presenting findings and collaborating with small teams. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Desirables: Amazon Redshift experience. Knowledge of Power BI Capacity management and optimisation.
