The Opportunity

We’re looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our expert team. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing heating and air-conditioning systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Key Responsibilities

* Perform planned and reactive maintenance on heating (steam) and air-conditioning systems.
* Maintain evaporative cooling and domestic water systems in line with L8 standards.
* Diagnose and repair plant faults to ensure continuous operation.
* Conduct filter and belt changes, pipe repairs, and system upgrades.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with health and safety protocols.
* Collaborate with CBRE and client teams to deliver exceptional service.

What We’re Looking For

Education & Training

* Level 3 qualification in mechanical services maintenance.
* Basic computer skills and understanding of building management systems (preferred).
* Health and safety training (desirable).

Experience

* Hands-on experience with pumps, motors, valves, and cooling towers.
* Familiarity with health and safety standards in maintenance environments.
* Experience on client-resident sites and with evaporative cooling systems (desirable).

Skills & Attributes

* Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
* Calm under pressure and confident in decision-making.
* Physically fit and comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces.
* A team player with a commitment to excellent customer service.
* Full UK driving licence required.
