An opportunity is available for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a practice with new owners and fresh ideas. This role is ideal for a clinician who enjoys surgery and is looking for more involvement, specifically assisting the practice owners in leading the clinical team.
About the Practice & Location: This practice offers extensive facilities, including a CT scanner and a rehabilitation centre with hydrotherapy and physiotherapy. Doubling in size to accommodate its growing team and services, the practice is located in a well-connected area of Staffordshire. The region offers a high quality of life with easy access to the Peak District and excellent transport links to Manchester and Birmingham.
About the Role and Team: The team prides itself on clinical excellence and a supportive culture where colleagues back each other up and enjoy a collaborative environment.
* Schedule: Full-time preferred, but part-time or flexible options are available for discussion.
* Work-Life Balance: No OOH, no Sundays, and no Bank Holidays.
* Weekends: 1 in 4 Saturdays (9 am – 12 pm).
* Support: Includes an experienced nursing team, dedicated lunch breaks, and protected time for case follow-ups.
About You (To be considered) The practice is seeking a motivated individual who meets the following criteria:
* A confident Veterinary Surgeon with at least 5 years’ experience in consultations and routine surgery. ️
* Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient care.
* A desire to take the next step in a leadership-focused role.
* Willingness to relocate to the Stoke-on-Trent area.
