Edwards & Pearce are working exclusively with a local client to source an experienced Credit Controller / Manager. Applicants must be time served and be confident to oversee a busy credit control environment by showing tenacity, assertiveness and strong communication skills.
THE ROLE
1. Full time hours, office based.
2. Manage all aspects of credit control, from assessing initial risk to resolving queries.
3. Proactively reduce the company's outstanding debt.
4. Build and maintain relationships with clients throughout the credit process.
5. Identify, investigate, and resolve issues with client accounts.
6. Assess current procedures and implement new streamlined systems to improve efficiency.
THE CANDIDATE
1. Proven experience in Credit Control, including managing high volume and complex debtor lists.
2. Confidence to develop business relationships to recover debt.
3. Accurately maintain customer contact, payments, and records.
4. Knowledge to devise new credit systems and procedures.
5. Tenacious, assertive, with strong negotiating skills.
6. Wider accounts knowledge is a plus but not essential.
