You’ll be embedded in a highly classified R&D environment, leading the design and deployment of next-gen Software Defined Radio (SDR) and DSP algorithms for covert payloads and intelligence-gathering platforms which help protect the UK's National Security.The Role: Reverse Engineering: Deconstruct RF systems (hardware/software/signals) to identify exploitable vectors and redesign opportunities.DSP Algorithm Development: Build and optimise signal processing algorithms for detection, classification, and exploitation.SDR Design: Architect SDR solutions for high-stakes communications and intelligence missions.Payload Engineering: Create mission-critical comms payloads compatible with existing and future platforms.Testing & Validation: Lead lab/field testing loops with multidisciplinary teams to ensure real-world performance.Systems Integration: Fuse your DSP work into broader mission systems alongside hardware/software experts.Key Requirements:UK National with current UKIC Developed Vetting (DV) and willingness to obtain enhanced DV.
