Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to work for a successful and growing SME based in Colchester.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional looking to make a real impact in supporting with financial reporting, controls, and the commercial performance of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare monthly management accounts and provide financial analysis.
* Support budgeting and cashflow forecasting.
* Monitor costs and drive efficiency improvements.
* Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset register.
* Manage VAT returns and indirect tax compliance.
* Overseeing bank reconciliations and cash reporting.
* Support year-end close and statutory reporting.
Skills & Experience:
* ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or part-qualified or qualified by experience – with relevant work experience.
* Experience in a working within a SME environment
* Strong knowledge of management accounts
* Experience with cloud accounting systems
