We’re looking for a Communities Support (Domestic Abuse) to join our Housing and Communities team and play a vital role in supporting services that make a real difference to customers and communities. This role builds on existing operational support to our domestic abuse service, with a broader focus that also supports the wider Communities team. This is a varied role that requires organisation, discretion and a collaborative approach, particularly when supporting sensitive areas of work.

Key responsibilities
* Provide operational support to the domestic abuse service and wider Communities team
* You'll be triaging referrals to the domestic abuse services and making calls to verify information.
* Deliver administrative support for safeguarding and tenancy intervention activity
* Support coordination and communication across community-based services
* Maintain accurate records, case notes and reports in line with policies and procedures
* Contribute to consistent processes and ways of working across Communities services
About you
* You’ll be organised, proactive and comfortable working across multiple priorities.
* You’ll be able to manage sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality, while supporting colleagues and customers effectively.
* You should have experience in an administrative or operational support role
* You’ll have an understanding of, or willingness to learn about, domestic abuse, safeguarding and tenancy-related support
