Job Role Overview
As a Community Care Assistant, your role is to provide essential personal care and support to individuals during evening hours, helping them maintain independence and dignity in the comfort of their own homes.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing personal care such as washing, dressing, and supporting personal hygiene
* Assisting with evening meals, drinks, and light household tasks
* Offering companionship, reassurance, and emotional support
* Prompting or administering medication in line with individual care plans
* Observing and reporting any changes in wellbeing to the office or on-call team
* Travelling between service users within Swadlincote (fuel allowance provided)
* Working evening shifts, including some weekends, as part of a rota

Pay Rates
Non-Qualified Carers
* Weekdays: £12.65 per hour
* Weekends: £13.00 per hour
Qualified Carers (Level 2+)
* Weekdays: £13.10 per hour
* Weekends: £14.00 per hour
(Enhanced rates may apply depending on hours worked)

Requirements
* Full UK driving licence
* Access to your own vehicle
* Availability for evening shifts, including some weekends
* Caring, reliable, and compassionate nature
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Previous care experience is welcome but not essential – full training provided
