We are seeking a Security Officer to join our team and contribute to the safety and security of our clients’ premises. The ideal candidate will be observant, reliable, and possess outstanding customer service skills. This role comes with the added responsibility of safeguarding company assets and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and staff.
Responsibilities
1. Perform routine patrols of designated areas to monitor for signs of security breaches
2. Ensure all visitors are greeted and processed according to security protocols
3. Respond to emergencies, alarms, and other incidents in a timely and professional manner
4. Document and report any unusual activities or occurrences
5. Collaborate with other security personnel and management to enhance overall security operations
6. Provide assistance and information to employees and visitors as needed
Requirements
7. Prior experience as a Security Officer or in a related field is highly desirable
8. Must hold a valid SIA license
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
10. Ability to think critically and respond effectively in emergencies
11. Physically fit to perform patrol duties and remain vigilant during shifts
12. Ability to maintain professionalism and customer service, even in challenging situations
13. Willingness to work varied hours, including nights and weekends
