Overview
A Senior Night Coach at SuperCare provides reassurance, safety, and comfort while the children sleep. Nights can be unpredictable; some children may rest peacefully, while others wake distressed, anxious, or in need of personal care. You'll be the steady presence who ensures that, even in the quiet hours, the children feel safe and understood. The home is proud of its recent "Good" rating from Ofsted and is working toward achieving Outstanding!
What You'll Do
* Overnight care and support, including assisting with toileting, bathing, continence, and nighttime medication routines.
* Remain calm under pressure, exercise patience and resilience, and approach challenging behaviour with dignity and warmth, even at 3am.
* Bring relevant experience and leadership to the night shift; Senior Coaches require either a Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
* The young people in this home are non-verbal and use PECS or Makaton. Some young people have epilepsy (training provided), so experience with these conditions is beneficial.
* Although the role is night shift, the young people are highly active; energetic, compassionate, and bubbly personalities are welcome.
* At SuperCare, we\'re on a mission to be the number one employer in social care and to give back to our staff.
* Salary: 20% above sector average.
* Rota: 22:00–08:00 (2 nights on, 2 nights off).
